The correct application for smartphones, which can provide instant information about accidents such as location, time, a number of injured people, etc. to emergency services, with a good advertisement, can change this statistic. Today people are often distracted from their surroundings and pay less attention to each other. An innovative solution for this problem may be a developing of an Accident detection System using an android smartphone. It is, basically, the application running on the android phone that continuously reads the data from the sensors and process this data to detect a crash according to the changes in accelerometer and gyroscope readings.
